Yup I found that out the hard way. A mod changed a title on a thread to one that was clearly flamebait, I called them out on it, got permabanned because I was a junior. There reasoning was because they thought I didn't want to be part of their community even though that was the only post I ever made that was even slightly controversial.

It's not really that big of a deal though since I didn't post there consistantly but now I can't go through their Media Create archive which sucks. 

Again, there I could see why they banned you. 

A mod staff's main job is to keep out trolls, and I'm sorry, but if you're intentionally making threads as flamebait, and taking the discussion away from gaming, then to me that sounds like trolling.

I was apart of a none gaming forum that didn't ban because of stuff that, and now 90% of the threads are "controversial" discusstions which are popular because they get boat loads of replies. So some may not like it, but they're just trying to keep their forum from going down the crapper (which is why you need a private email to even register to Gaf btw).
