It's not even just that. He's counting at a time when the PS2 was severly supply constrained too. Which just doesn't work when drawing a paralel because the PS2 just has more demand. It's only comparative when they both arent' supply constrained because otherwise the PS2 has way more demand that just doesn't translate correctly.
