Sony doesn't get a free pass for having a staggered launch. If they had bad timing, that's their fault, and that affects the numbers, and that's how history will remember it, by the numbers.

People won't be making Crazzy's argument in 20 years. They'll be looking back and discussing how and when Sony shot themselves in the foot, and talking about Nintendo's insane super comeback that DWARFED the PS2.
