Actually feels refreshing. New blood with a chance to shine. The old lose their luster eventually. Just like these forums.... New users replace the burnt out.

Said the guy from 2007 :P

They can try whatever they want, but I higly doubt that really talented people will want to work with them, unless they offer alot of money, which they wont. And even if they are really good people with them, Konami will find a way to fuck it up, be it rushing the game or just adding microtransactions and all.

Funny thing is, when the game fails, Konami will most likely blame on the "shrinking" of the console market.

There are lots of unknown people with lots of talent waiting for an opportunity. Doesn't mean Konami will find the right people though.

What I find interesting though, is that Konami being in Japan and all, how will they find people willing to dive into videogames that have both the creativity, knowledge of historic events, and will to swallow that Metal Gear story, to make a proper MGS sequel. I'm afraid they will scratch everything and just go for a new story with a few of know characters.

Well I sure as hell won't be buying it. LOL

Even if the game looks good? I mean, it could, it looks difficult but it could turn out to be a good game.

They're going to turn it into an annually releasing franchise aren't they?

Wouldn't surprise me.

Honestly I am the only one that think that Konami published purposely this ad because of Kojima announcement yesterday ?

There's so many weeks in one year and they have to talk about a new MGS one day after Kojima showed to the industry that he didn't need Konami. It is like a "we don't need him either"

Who knows. But I don't think this would be a beneficial tactic in that case. I feel Konami should lay low for a while.

People are gonna rip it apart no matter how good or bad it is because it wasn't helmed by Kojima.

I'm kind of afraid of that, being the case that the game ends up turning out to be good.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:
