Is he snubbing Xbox though? For whatever reason Kojima felt that best chance at a new beginning was to partner up with Sony at least for his first game. Or to put it less charitably, hold out his hat and see if Sony would throw enough money into it. Way I see it, if you make a strategic decision that your best opportunity for success is to partner up with one platform then that is not the same as snubbing another.
Perhaps I interpret "snub" differently, but to me a snub is looking at two options that can be equally good, and choosing option A over Option B because you don't like the person who is offering option B. In Kojima's case I think it was more option PS4 offers significantly more benefits for Kojima than option Xb one and therefore it is logical to go for option PS4 and no disrespect or ill feeling towards Xb one.
