No one will be making games for PSVR in 2 years time, so its safe to assume its unrelated. Kojima has never made games for peripherals before, i don't see him starting now. He wants to make the big games that impress the industry, and i'm sure he will stick to that.
Also... hype! Curious to see what he will make as it will likely interest me. I had lost interest in the MGS series a while ago.
