Holy moley 5Mbs!

It hardly seems worth the bother to move up from 4 Mbs to 5Mbs, if you can renew at 4Mbs for $40 then you might as well do that, but you should be eligible for a "free" upgrade to a higher speed if / when it becomes available.

I was on something like 20Mbs 500GB the last time I asked for an upgrade, and then some months later I got auto upgraded to 100Mbs unlimited simply because their pricing changed and the price I was paying was the new 100Mbs unlimited package. Damn it was so sweet downloading 30GB of The Witcher 3 in just a couple of hours, when not long ago it would have taken an entire day or more to do that.

Can you shop around for a different ISP or are you stuck with the one service?

The situation is that the ISP I am doing business with is the one that has the infrastructure. I've been told other companies have issues and even offer service by borrowing antennas from my ISP.

Maybe I should try them on my own though, and see how they go.

I think I should fight for a reduction in the monthly fee like you say.

This all sounds why too sketchy.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:
