But SONY have to ditch early Vita if they want to make something relevant next, I would bet for a hybrid with android, its own game OS and Vita/PSP emulation/retrocompatibility. But, I'm almost sure that SONY will not continue on Portable/mobile hardware market. |
It's more profitable for them to just take the existing hardware for another gen. No r&d needed. Possible a little for a Vita 3.0
They do a respectable number of software a year on it and they'd be stupid not to hold onto that for another 5 or 6 years. And it's an important crutch for the ps4.
Like ps4 can get a game like God eater 3 that will sell over 100k because they can do a Vita version which will do a lot better.
