Now, make no mistake, some of those topics did have some heated discussion. However, I don't recall there ever being a concerted effort to attack the PC or its fanbase. If that's happening in 2015, I apologize, but I've lurked more frequently, recently, and again, I just haven't seen it.

Back then it seems there were some other users that posted their setups along with talks of the Crysis and Metro series, although I don't see too much ehat in your discussions, they were good ones none the less. I feel back 2 years ago there wasn't much in terms of "attacking" the platform per say, duscussions from back then didn't seem as heated as they are now, though I think that's due to the start of a new gen, new starts tend to have bumps here and there and this gen seems to ramp things up a bit in terms of versus topics.

It's not a bad thing that you've lurked for some time, no need to apologize, I lurked the site for a good year and a half before 8th gen started and joined during the summer before the launch of the other two remaining systems. I also lurked the Escapist for a good 2 years before joining back in 2010 (Yahtzee drew me to the site originally).
