I've paid a lot of money for my PS2 games, but Sony doesn't create the infrastructure to be able to keep playing them. So yeah, I play them on PC.
I've even bought some PS2 classics on PS3, and finding out that they have no plans whatsoever to support my purchases on PS4 made me think "You know what? You can stick your paltry offering of PS2 games on PS4, I'm not buying that again".
These things should be a 2 way street: I buy your games, you respect my purchases. If not, I'll play them on PC. That's how it works.
