Highly unlikely. They don't have the creative education and other creative industries like music, tv, movies and the supposedly really boring (according to the chinese kids i teach) chinese manga leaves much to be desired (Hong kong is different). On top of that only online free to play games and mobile games would be able to develop a home market because that's where china's at.
Korea, and even the likes of Russia and India are probably more likely. It' just not one of china's strong suits.
