if you want to game in 4k this is probably the worst time to upgrade, wait for new GPUs as the current super-high-end just barely manages to get to playable frames in 4k in current games (and probably just won't in future games), while the next gen GPUs might see a fairly big improvement in power (jump to 14/16nm from 28nm, HBM2)
