Ok, since early 2011, China replaced Japan as the biggest economy in Asia as well as the 2nd in the world.
And the Chinese gaming market is now also the largest on this planet: http://www.newzoo.com/infographics/infographic-the-chinese-games-market/
They have the market, but they still heavily lack in the developing video games department. But this probably will change soon, as Chinese companies are planning to own pretty much everything.
It's just a matter of time before they know how to make the next Pokemon! or Mario! Or Gran Turismo, or Final Fantasy, or yeah... ya know wat i mean :3.
