Lol, I am not rebuying my PS2 games to "support Sony so they can put that money into the PS4 infrastructure and it's games." Sorry, as a consumer I prioritize my surplus over Sony's. They can use their profits (producer surplus) to invest "into the PS4 infrastructure and it's games."
Your argument is analogous to saying, "you should pay your gas stations more for the same gas, so that they can invest in nicer gas stations, be happy prices are high!"
