ckmlb - no. The X360 is destined for a very far behind 3rd place. HOWEVER, where that 3rd place is, is upto MS. If MS kept striving, and securing/releasing very good J-games, the 360 could get very close to Gamecube-like levels of sales in Japan (3-4m). Or, MS could just care less, cut support, and wind up with just at 1m or so.
Also, a quick note/correction, that I hope ioi fixes:
Dead Rising was #40 last week in the MC charts. That means that Dead Rising sold somewhere near 5,000 units this week in Japan. That's pretty stinking huge, as that's about 25% of it's launch week numbers.
I really wonder if since DR sold so well, that BD, or the other re-releases did better than th 500-1000 units that VGChartz has thus far.
