What monopoly? PS consoles dominated for two gens and there was no issue. There were a lot of games and people enjoyed them. Now, there's more ways to play games than ever. I am not saying there was one. I said I am worried that this might become too one sided... or did you forgot what happened the last time a game company became complacent?

Yes MS with the 360 on the latter half of the gen and then with the XOne. They didn't have a monopoly though, they even weren't market leaders.

 

So what's your point?
