I think the point was that VGChartz has things pretty wrong right now w/o the official numbers plugged in.  If they were accurate, todays announcement and ensuing pages of comments would've probably played out a bit differently.  On the other hand, is the 3DS pummeling the VITA a surprise to anyone? heh

Well im just glad that VGChartz was able to get their sales back up and going, we probably still back in September by now. But since Sony doesn't give us Vita sales, we have Vgchartz to rely on. 

And same thing goes to the PS4 and the Wii U. I'll be surprised if anyone is surprised how the PS4 is slaying the Wii U =D 

Oh it's def nice to have the site back up and running the numbers, certainly.  Maybe I'm wrong, but wouldn't NPD give those numbers?

If you are talking about the Vita. Sadly i can't remember when was the last time Sony or NPD gave numbers for it. Even in this financial report, the Vita wasn't even mentioned.
