And why are you comparing to a home console against a handheld?

And comparing something that released just over 2 YEARS to a nearly 5 YEARS product? Were you expecting the 3DS to sell 1million like the PS4? 

 

Vita and Wii U are like the terrible twins.  They are compared because Sales wise they represent probably the biggest mainline console failure Sony or Microsoft have ever had.  

 

3DS to ps4 is more interesting because they are both doing better.  Despite the years of extra sales it looks like ps4 total software will pass out the 3DS pretty soon.  Now there's another landmark statistic. 

 

Hardware wise it won't take too long either.  Which is a Crazy turnaround given that the DS was nearly double the PS3.
