8 was alright but I don't feel that it lived up to the hype. I loved the game until literally the end of disk 3 where where the story jumped the shark.. I've heard that they cut a ton of stuff out and it showed because after you fight seifer for the last time, there literally is no story...then you fight the boss without any explanation.....it just seemed half-assed.
