First of all I'm very happy to see the vita doing the same numbers as it did last year.

Secondly the ps4 is going to absolutely dominate the home console market in 2016. 10k over the Wii U on Famitsu and 3k according to media create.

This is the holiday season when Nintendo and the Wii U is by far at its strongest. It has a chance to outsell the ps4 but so far this Holiday Season it's not.

And apart from splatoon and Mario maker everything seems to do bad on the Wii U. It's no wonder third parties avoid it and that won't change with the NX.

3DS beasting and MHX even more so. Xbox the usual. PS3 will be dead come January.

Not sure what's releasing next week, I know the ps4 has steins gate and rainbow 6 but they are very modest titles. If it can go up next week again I'll be pleasantly surprised. 2 weeks it has fallout 4, so that will be a good week for the ps4 for sure.

This isn't even a little bit true. 6 games have sold over 500k on the Wii U in Japan so far (NSMBU, MK8, Splatoon, Wii Party U, Smash Bros. U and SM3DW) with Super Mario Maker nearing that mark. It's about to have 3 one million sellers (NSMBU, MK8 and Splatoon). Not to mention the relatively smaller successes that have sold over 200k like Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Pikmin 3, Nintendo Land and Dragon Quest X.

Comparing that with the PS4, which doesn't have a single game that has sold over 500k in Japan (which includes fairly big titles such as MGSV, Dragon Quest Heroes and Bloodborne).

Yes, the Wii U was out for an additional year or so beforehand but even if we consider that, that only removes one game from the Wii U's list and it's still left with 5 more. The reality is that the PS4 gets a lot of 3rd party support, but hardly any of the titles sell massively like 1st party titles on Nintendo's systems. Only Final Fantasy XV is a guaranteed million seller, in my opinion. FFVII has a pretty good shot and DQXI a bit of a chance.

Finally, I really wouldn't make claims like that regarding the NX, which we know very little about. If it really is a fusion system, then 3rd parties will flock to it due to the handheld side at the very least. Japanese 3rd parties have already been in talks of supporting it anyways, but we'll see how it goes.

Let's not forget that many games are ps3+ps4 in japan so without those games being on ps3 the situation would look a bit different (oh and let's give the ps4 one more year and make a comparison then)
