http://www.pcgamer.com/htcs-vive-vr-headset-wont-be-out-until-april/

The HTC Vive VR headset, which was expected to be available commercially in "limited quantities" by the end of 2015, has been pushed back to April of 2016. HTC announced the updated launch window on Facebook, where it said it remains "focused on delivering the very best experience possible for a consumer release."

THE BINDING OF ISAAC: AFTERBIRTH+ ANNOUNCED BY NICALIS

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-binding-of-isaac-afterbirth-announced-by-nicalis/

The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth caused quite a stir when it came out in October. It wasn't the DLC itself that caused the uproar, though, but rather the complex ARG it kicked off, which began with what appeared to be a bug that left promised elements of the game inaccessible. Hopefully the launch of the "mini DLC" tentatively entitled Afterbirth+ will go a little more smoothly, or at least make fewer people angry when it rolls out.

BETHESDA OPENS NEW MONTREAL STUDIO

http://www.pcgamer.com/bethesda-opens-new-montreal-studio/

Bethesda has opened a new development studio in Montreal in addition to its present Maryland HQ. As we've come to expect from Bethesda, the announcement was sudden and mysterious, stating that a core team of 40 devs (managed by Yves Lachance, former studio head of Behaviour Interactive) is already in place but without the slightest hint of what they might be developing. I suppose a release headed "Bethesda opens Elder Scrolls 6 studio" would have been a bit much to ask.

ELITE DANGEROUS: HORIZONS LANDS DECEMBER 15

It was just last week that I was announcing that Elite Dangerous: Horizons' Planetary Landings was available in beta form, and already we have a firm release date: December 15 will be the day to boldly go and despoil all those untouched space rocks.
