The main complaint people had was the level scaling. In that, because enemies in the game world level up as you level up, the game loses any real sense of progress.
Oh, also, they blew their entire acting budget on 20 minutes of Patrick Stewart, so that the entire rest of the game you'll only find about a half-dozen voices.
I really liked the combat system, though. Nobody's forcing you to play it as a melee clickfest, after all. If you dislike the basic melee combat, I suggest you try out a stealth character; then, all of a sudden, the game becomes a Thief-cum-dungeon-crawler.

'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."
