^ I had that too, turned out when they still play a role in the story they go to where their next story bit is instead.
Build a dog house to find the dog. I've only tried the patch for a few minutes so far, it would be nice if the pathing of companions improved. They do get stuck occasionally only to reappear after a loading screen.
The patch didn't improve the frame rate bug with tons of monitors, still heavy judder at 5 fps with 225 monitors connected to the power grid. Without them connected it still stutters at around 20 fps. (I used a glitch to circumvent size limits, yet my version of Sanctuary is now an easy way to see if performance noticeably improves)
Cabot quest follow up still doesn't work for me.
