We didn't get anything approaching a proper resolution until Advent Children came along. For the remake we need to see the immediate aftermath of the Meteor incident. 2) More distinction between the player characters. In the original one, any character could use any magic or summon materia, and while there were differences in character progression in stats like strength, magic, etc., pretty much every character was a jack-of-all-trades fighter-mage. This meant that for most of the game you could stick with just the same three characters, because there was no practical need to use any of the others. There needs to be restrictions on who can use what materia and/or greater differences in character stat progression in order to give players some incentive to swap the various characters in and out of their active party. |
1) I loved the ending of FFVII. It requires you to remember what was said about the Holy materia though. I liked Advent Children as well.
2) I suppose you are referring to adding jobs.
In the trailer though, you can see Barret and Cloud fighting in their own style now that the game is action oriented. Cloud has his sword and Barret is in charge of the shooting.
I wonder if now that we see how FF7's gameplay is more similar to the initial gameplay of FF15, maybe they changed FF15's gameplay to sort of "give it" to FF7R.

I think I remember that.
It brings a sudden end to the whole venture if I'm not mistaken. xD
Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:
