If you look at the trend in video games gen after gen, it was only a matter of time actually.
Sad truth is that we all contributed a great part in this evolution.
Can't say much about FFVII:R and it being episodic until we get more in-depth details and pricing.
But if I were to judge now then I'd say I'm not liking the idea. I'm afraid by the time I play 'episode 2', i'd probably lost touch and already forgotten where the story left off and how to play. As well, possibly my love/hype for the game might diminish due to the wait of each episode.
