Nostalgia ain’t cheap you hear! If you still get a tingle from watching it and hearing the music score, then screw the price and pay for it because you know you've been wanting it. Now if you don't have the money, then I'm sorry for you. Just don't buy every freaking game PS4 makes, just the ones that matter to you.

So a game once released on 3 CDs costing £35 or whatever new, we should accept they are releasing in parts at £35 each just because of nostalgia? When I could just buy FF7 PS4 release now for the same (if not questionably more nostalgic due to the fact it's the game I remember) for £9.

I think it should be more of a concern if it's based on modern day gameplay/graphics development vs older story telling. FF3 up had a wealth of story in them, Chrono Trigger and other similar games did too. Playing FF7 for the first time and just going through the story would take up to 40 hours on it's own without spending several hours breeding chocobos or unlocking Master Materias. Yet I didn't feel like I was wandering massive deserts or planes just fighting monsters, we went from one area to the next playing the story and the battles that came with it. I feel I spent more time in FF12 and 13 just getting to the next part of the story instead of playing the story. Maybe this is a sign of how FF games have changed and how FF7 Remake will differ from the original. The added content is just wandering around, like FF12 and 13 but with the same story content the game it just too big.

But hey, as long as Cloud is cross-dressing and you can go on a date with Barrett...

Hmm, pie.
