It depends, if by episode they mean each episode is a full game of previous final fantasy entry example.
1 episode for FF VII
2n episode Dirge of Cerberus
3rd Episode Advant Children
4th episode Crisis Core
5th Episode what happened with the guy from Crisis Core.
If like that, then yeah I will support buying only 2 episoses FF VII and Advant Childreen.
But if it take 2 episodes to play the full FF VII advanture then I will be done with FF
