The thing about videogames is you can get the experience you want. For example something like everybody gone to the rapture in VR. Slow paced experiences. LA Noire. Less violent things. Nobody says that VR has to be realistic bloods and guts. It can be simply socializing with others on a tropical island. Play detective in a jurassic park. Walk on mars. Race Cars Pilot things etc. Do things you cant do IRL and see things nobody has seen yet. I dont care about playing God of War in VR or shooting people. I want to see things that do not exists yet I am interested in the potential. VR will create its own form of entertainment. The better the hard and software becomes the more things will happen in and around VR we do not expect today. |
Ye but once the technology exists ppl will use it for some questionable stuf, and than were threading very dangerous ground, the kind of stuf ppl can make and how harmfull it can be to ppl is realy worrying. Itd be awesome if we could be sure wed not have someone playing a serial killer simulator on VR for example, but ppl are fked up...
