I know this is out of topic, but I love how Windows computers are so good and inexpensive, while Apple products are so underpowered and expensive.
I'm currently using a $900 PC that has a 23 in. monitor(runs 2k smoothly, 4k decently) and intel i5 processor( 2.9 GHz), while a $1,500 Apple computer will be like 1.3 GHz processor with 1080p only.
Back on topic though, that's a lot of money to spend on a PC. If you really want to spend that much, then make it where you can easily upgrade it for future use. I would recommend the newest Skylake processors. They're amazingly efficient, and they only get more efficient with top-notch Nvidia graphics.
