ROBOTECHHEAVEN said: wont buy any of them if the publishers want to be ass's and not release the games on the xb1 as well, then they wont ever get my money for those games or others as well. I find it amusing that the developers want to ignore the 17+ million xb1 gamers and their money , and create a gen where competition is frown upon. Guess mortal kombat 10 is getting my money now, and more for killer instinct as well.

I don't mind games like SF5 being exclusive because it wouldn't be made without sony or niche japanese anime games because no one besided Japan buys them and they just do a cheap localization to get a little bit more money in west (sometimes they don't even do this). However, there are some games I believe should be on xbox one like ace combat 7 since it isn't some nich Japanese anime game and highly doubt sony funded it. Thats why I don't mind Microsoft being a bit of a monoply and buying out big game ips like Gears,Minecraft and probably more later down the road. Seems there is certain cases Japanese Publishers are a dick and Microsoft needs to be a dick right back.

It wouldn't have been made as soon as Feb 2016. But it's Street Fighter. It would have been made at some point when Capcom sorted out their financial issues and priorities.

Capcom needed someone to help them make it. They can't afford much right now. Same reason why Dead Rising was an xbox exclusive (although not as popular as SF). If Microsoft wanted to fund their own version they probably can, but they rather invest into Killer Instinct. I think Microsoft however needs to start being the beast they are and buy out big name franchises more often personally. I don't expect them to buy out everything, but games like Titan Fall should should be bought out by them for sure.

Why? All multiplats sell better on other platforms. it makes no sense on the developers end to want to be purchased by MS. If anything, it would make sense to be exclusive to the largest fanbase available - either PC or PS4.
In fact, the only way Microsoft deserves to have exclusive titles at this point are if they develop them themselves. The latest 3rd party exclusive in Tomb Raider had piss poor launch sales that would normally not be enough to sustain that kind of developer. It's a loss for the developer, it's a loss for MS, it's a loss for the publisher.... literally the only winner here are the miniscule amount of players that bought it.
