Most cover systems in FPS games zoom out to third person while actually in cover, like in Rainbow Six Vegas.
And I never said it was new. I was trying to say that CoD4 plus a cover system that apparently works quite well should make the game quite enjoyable, and shouldn't be shrugged off simply because it's "generic."
