Hahah, how funny would it be if Nintendo had gone the PS route of naming their home consoles :

NES = NES
SNES = NES 2
N64 = NES 3
GC = NES 4
Wii = NES 5
WiiU = NES 6
NX = NES 7?

That would have eventually gotten ludicrous.
