| Bursche said: Ill do the biggest mistakes by Nintendo 5. Saying no to Sony making a CD peripheral 4. Zelda CD-I 3. Saying no to online last gen/ yes to GBA connectivity 2. Virtual Boy And #1!!! 1. Not deciding to translate Mother 3 and Mother 1+2 GBA games for America |
5.) As has been stated, it wasn't the end of the world. It hurt for a while, and made Sony a powerhouse for a decade.
4.) They had nothing to do with that. Philips made the games with basically no input from Nintendo.
3.) Agree on Nintendo's lack of online plan. Disagree on GBA connectivity, as FF:CC and Zelda: Four Swords were incredibly fun multiplayer. (I also am the one lunatic who owns 4 NES Edition GBA SP's and 4 GC/GBA cables. Also 4 sets of DK Bongos. I have peripheral related issues.)
2.) Agree entirely.
1.) Agree. More Earthbound/Mother games = happier me. Also, the follow-up to Secret of Mana needs to be localized for Virtual Console. The ROM version I have of that game is absolutely fantastic.
The dedication you show to any particular console or company is inversely proportional to the number of times you have gotten laid. If you get laid enough, even if you prefer a certain brand, you just don't give enough of a shit to argue about it on the internet.
