Yeah, marketing was the wrong word. I was trying to keep it simple, because the problems Sega had with the DC are a whole different can of worms.
Perhaps the saddest thing I've ever seen was at E3 back in I believe 2003. We were waiting outside the theater for the Nintendo press conference and I saw this mopey Japanese kid with a shirt with the DC logo on the front that said "Dream over" in the same font underneath it. I felt like going over and giving him a hug.
The dedication you show to any particular console or company is inversely proportional to the number of times you have gotten laid. If you get laid enough, even if you prefer a certain brand, you just don't give enough of a shit to argue about it on the internet.
