STEAM NOW LETS YOU DELETE GAMES FROM YOUR LIBRARY

http://www.pcgamer.com/steam-now-lets-you-delete-games-from-your-library/

My Steam filing system amounts to an alphabetical heap of anything and everything I have ever bought, sampled or been given. I suppose I could optimise my game-launching by sorting everything into lists, but honestly I don't know what I'd do with that extra .2 seconds in my life. Still, if you just can't stand the sight of clutter or you harbour a deep-seated regret for something that crawled out of Greenlight not quite right, user Enter the Dragon Punch over at NeoGAF has spotted the option to have games permanently deleted from your library.

WIN $1 MILLION IN THE ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE

http://www.pcgamer.com/win-1-million-in-the-elder-scrolls-online/

I can only imagine the shudder that ran through the accounts department when Bethesda decided it would stump up a $1 million prize for one lucky Elder Scrolls Online player come February 1st. I will note that this isn't a million-dollar lump sum, but $50,000 a year for the next 20 years. I know, it's hardly worth bothering.

http://www.pcgamer.com/doom-alpha-registrations-are-now-open-to-all/

If you want to get in on the Doom alpha, now's your chance. Bethesda has announced that registrations, previously restricted to those with beta access earned through preordering Wolfenstein: The New Order, have now been thrown open to everyone.

VAMPYR EMPHASIZES PLAYER CHOICE IN A DARK AND DIRTY WORLD

http://www.pcgamer.com/vampyr-emphasizes-player-choice-in-a-dark-and-dirty-world/

Vampyr, announced early this year by Life is Strange developer Dontnod Entertainment, is built on the kind of concept that grabs my attention immediately and forcefully. You'll play as a doctor in London shortly after the end of the First World War and in the midst of the flu pandemic that would ultimately kill as many as 100 million people worldwide. But you're not just a doctor; you're also a vampire.

OVERWATCH BETA IS SHUTTING DOWN NEXT WEEK

http://www.pcgamer.com/overwatch-beta-is-shutting-down-next-week/

The Overwatch closed beta that's currently underway will be brought to an end next week. Blizzard said the beta will relaunch sometime in January, but now it's time to start sorting through all the data that's been collected over the past month-and-a-half.

WHERE THE WATER TASTES LIKE WINE IS ABOUT ROADTRIPS AND STORYTELLING

http://www.pcgamer.com/where-the-water-tastes-like-wine-is-about-roadtrips-and-storytelling/

Well isn't this funny? Just yesterday I was rambling about wanting to see more games tell short stories that don't stick around for 20 hours out of obligation, and here comes Johnnemann Nordhagen at The Game Awards with a trailer for Where the Water Tastes Like Wine.

ROCK BAND ON OCULUS RIFT IS HAPPENING

http://www.pcgamer.com/rock-band-on-oculus-rift-is-happening/

Oculus VR founder Palmer Luckey took the stage at The Game Awards earlier tonight to announce a virtual reality version of Rock Band. Yep. He described standing on stage, looking out at the audience, and how great that is—but we're not actually sure how you play it in that context.

>>I can only say... WTF?!

Please excuse my bad English.
