Killzone has been pretty much overhyped for no reason. It's coming off 2 really bad reviewed and sold games before. And with only a fake trailer showing it has no difference than any other shooter out there really the hype is simply coming from the demand for a worse Halo replica on the PS3. That or simply just for a game in any sense.

I'm not here to say Killzone PS3 will be bad cause Sony could turn the game around and make a great game. But right now we don't know that and all we do know is it had 2 bad games before it in the series. The only thing giving this game anything is the hype around the internet with no causes even behind it. All I'm saying right now is there will be better games on the PS3.

Bad reviewed, really? I enjoyed them and a few others did too...

Deeko
Without a shadow of a doubt, one of the most highly-polished and brag-worthy games that the PSP has.

Game Chronicles
Liberation is a perfect example of just how powerful the PSP is, and a great way to experience console action in the palm of your hand.

One of the most pleasing things about Killzone Liberation that it seems to have been polished to the point you can almost see your face in it, it's impeccably balanced, looks amazing and is full of little gameplay touches and ideas that only come when a game has been developed by people who truly care about it.

Worth Playing
A must-own title that is definitely worth playing. Everything is great, and I really cannot think of anything I would change about what could be this year's greatest hand-held game.

PGNx Media
The worst thing that can be said about Killzone: Liberation is that we want more of it. We would have liked a longer single-player experience and we would have liked online multiplayer, but the gameplay in the game is so well done that you would be doing yourself a disservice if you let that stop you from getting the game. Action games do not get much better on the PSP.

DarkStation
After the over-hyped console version, the handheld port fortunately delivers with a perfect blend of solid controls and challenging levels.

Official Playstation 2 Magazine UK
A perfectly targeted shooter that sines on handheld due to great controls and balanced gameplay. One of the best blasts on PSP. [Dec 2006, p.96]

IGN
It seems wherever Liberation can go the extra mile, it does. It delivers on all fronts, from a thoroughly engrossing single-player campaign to an addictive multiplayer component. Liberation also shames most other PSP offerings through its presentation.
90
PSW Magazine UK
It's original, atmospheric and challenging, and sets things up nicely for the stunning PS3 game. Let the hype begin again.

AceGamez
Visually Liberation is outstanding, keeping the rustic color palette and de-saturated look of the original perfectly while adding even more environmental details.
Killzone for PS2

AceGamez
It's graphically stunning, the sound effects and music immerse you into a tense and exciting atmosphere of total chaos, a strong story compels you through a long single player campaign full of variety and challenge against tough enemies and the fully online multiplayer mode can be played split screen with a bunch of bots for those without a network adapter.

PSM Magazine
Killzone was worth the wait, and matches the hype. It hits the mark in so many ways, it's baffling; they promised us we'd experience fugture war, and we have...and come away shaking. [Holiday 2004, p.70]
92
Gaming Illustrated
Offers up some of the best graphics on the PS2 to date, and certainly is the most entertaining FPS game we've played on the console ever.
91
Next Level Gaming
OK, let me put it plain and simple to you. Killzone is the best Playstation 2 FPS to date. Forget about all those other wannabe shooters and watered down Xbox-to-Playstation 2 ports, this game is it.
90
Official Playstation 2 Magazine UK
Visually amazing FPS that'll rock your game world every time. [Jan 2007, p.106]
89
XGP Gaming
The environments are for the most part, spectacular. War debris is everywhere, worn out tanks lay forgotten amongst the destroyed buildings. All of it does relate for one hell of a war feel and setting.
88
Games Radar UK (Pre-2006)
A gorgeous, big, weighty, important event-game that makes good on most of its grandiose promises. Easily in the top two first-person shooters for PS2 alongside "TimeSplitters 2." [PSM2]

Stuff
Even though it offers the best online play Sony has to offer, it still comes up a few frags shy of toppling Master Chief, mostly because our poor PS2 seemed to be struggling to run the game.

TotalGames.net
While the frame rate occasionally dips and pop-up hasn't been totally eradicated Killzone looks stunning. However, Killzone's total focus on fire fights means that anyone that doesn't relish the thought of scrapping for every inch of territory, yearning for puzzles, switches, vehicles to pilot or woe-betide, aliens, should look elsewhere.
Stop hating, especially if you've never even played either game.
