A die-hard Zelda or die-hard Metroid fan is not necessarily a die-hard Nintendo fan. Despite the delays in my most anticipated games this year, Zelda and Star Fox, I still think Nintendo had a fairly solid lineup. Games like amiibo Festival and Splatoon weren't my type of games, but I understand their appeal to other audiences.
Cheer up... there's always next year. :)
