It really makes no sense.
The only developer in the nominees that made more than one game this year was Nintendo, and every other dev only made one game.
It just seems redundant.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
