I used to be pretty big into poker, pretty much anything (Razz, Stud, Holdem, Omaha, etc...) although I really haven't played much in a long while. Still though, I follow the WSoP, WPT, and PPT events, I just haven't had time/desire to play much lately. Although I think I personally prefer shows like HSP and Poker After Dark.
FYI - For those interested the World Series of Poker this year is 55 events and starts on the 29th of May and it runs until July with 15th which is the final table of the main event. Online coverage is available at www.pokerwire.com and www.cardplayer.com
PS - No online poker is not illegal in the US, they made it illegal for US banks to perform transactions with online gambling sites. The bill was complete BS and the PPA (poker player's Alliance) is working on getting poker exempted from it. Considering that there have been presidents, supreme court justices, and congressman going back to the 1800s that have played poker and considered it a gentlemen's game I honestly don't see what all the fuss is over. Particularly since a lot of the online sites now donate obscene amounts of money to gambling addiction services that help people overcome their gambling addictions..
