Get out of my pool ya whipper-snapper!
I see the Gears bundle is listed for $327 from 3rd parties "fulfillment by Amazon". There are a particularly large number of 3rd parties "fulfillment by Amazon" selling for between $327 and $335. Are these people who bought a whole bunch of Gears bundles for $299 during BF and then immediately re-listed them for sale to make a quick $25-$30 profit? If you add in the number of 3rd parties selling this bundle below $249 it's 7 1/2 pages of 3rd party sellers or about 75 (re?)sellers.
I don't want to go all flamey with suggesting a large number of Xb one's were sold to re-sellers on BF. But if you compare 75 (re?)sellers "fulfullment by Amazon" with prices up to $22 cheaper than the current MSRP, to cheapest NDC 3rd party sellers are $343, only 6 of them and none are "fulfullment by Amazon". There's something curious going on here.
For all consoles that have a very short term price cut I guess you're going to get people who buy low and then re-sell with a modest margin. But the difference with the PS4 and Xb one listings is quite notable. But maybe that's because NDC and SWBF are going to be back at $299 in a couple of days, so the re-sellers of PS4 are perhaps biding their time for now?
Why is Wii U more or less back to full price? Is that just Amazon or is it everywhere. Has Nintendo not increased production to meet a sustained increase in demand? That would be really unfortunate for Nintendo if they knew the demand was there but it is unable to supply it. Another mis-step by them in a generation that has been full of mis-steps?
