Why do you want a Titan X when a 980Ti is just a tiny bit slower but costs a lot less? And there's no AMD counterpart for the Titan X, the Fury cards "compete" with the 980Ti and, given that they only have 4GB of VRAM, a 980Ti is the better option.

But that's if you want to upgrade now. If you plan to upgrade next Christmas, everything will have changed.

I'm asking cause I dont know ;p

But ya I'm waiting until next year to upgrade. Just wanted to see what type of options I have ;o (i.e. potential successors to the current GFX cards).

Well, from the current gen of cards, the only ones that still haven't been launched are the rumored GTX 960Ti that I posted a few days ago, and AMD's dual GPU card that has no name but it will use 2xFury GPUs.

Then, either in Q1 or Q2, both Nvidia and AMD will launch its newer cards based on Pascal and third gen GCN architectures.

So yeah, things will change quite a bit in 2016.

Please excuse my bad English.
