..Pokemon Platinum isn't DiamondG and PearlG or the likes so XZ and YZ would definitely be strange :p

I mean we got Pokemon black 2 and white 2 as sequels to pokemo black and white, instead of Pokemon Gray as third version! So now  we might get Pokemon X2 Y2 as you implied but they could be named XZ YZ , given Zygarde's facts! Or if it's just a third version, instead of Pokemon Z, Pokemon XY& Z provided that,  there is a Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde Pokemon hybrid!:P
