Getting sick and tired of the useless comparisons to PS2 when it comes to hardware. The PS2 didn't demolish everyone despite being weak, it won because it was the only viable option for gamers at that point. Coming from the back of the PS1 juggernaught probably also had something to do with its success.
Nowadays we have so many entertainment options that it's simply not enough to deliver a certain amount of content. It's about leading in pretty much all fields to be the most viable option. If the PS4 had a bad interface, only a few apps, no bluray and weaker hardware than X1 it wouldn't matter if it had 10 times as many great games because it would've died at launch.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
