Never really followed the anime after about 100 or so episodes in up until Shippuden came around ...
I went straight to the manga by then ...
I thought the plot in the post-timeskip was A LOT better than in the pre-timeskip since we actually focused on the main villains and I especially loved our protagonist's change of character too ...
I even liked the Fourth Shinobi War Arc even though it got crapped on a lot but it revealed a ton of interesting plot twists and neatly concluded the story ...
