The impressive thing is the 3ds boost!:P Completely unexpected! Given the decline in 2015 regarding 2014 sales due to saturation and new 3ds/xl last year release!
400% boost!
It sold 40k more than same week last year and last year was the new 3ds/xl 3ds period! Monster hunter x is not a straght sequel, also you would think that most of the fanbase is already on 3ds, since MH4 AND MH4G!
I'm an optimistic guy as you Know and I was expecting 70k sales, 100% boost... (35k->70k)
New 3dxl bundle did much better than I was thinking! Also it seems that people decided in holidays to finally upgrade to New 3ds/xl... New 3ds/xl effect is not dead as many people were thinking, it has still future...
People were just waiting for holidays...
