Rise of the Tomb Raider just sold me on buying Far Cry 4 ( slight review possible spoilers)

I enjoyed Uncharted 2 and 3 fairly well, haven't gone back to play the first one but someday I'll buy a PS4 and just play the remasters.

I didn't like the Tomb Raider 2013 at all. Played it maxed on PC, and it looked nice but I just didn't enjoy it.

I vastly preferred Far Cry 3 and 4 to Tomb Raider 2013, and got more out of them than UC2/3. Uncharted seemed to be fun in an action set-piece Indiana Jones sort of way even if I didn't 'feel' the mechanics of the gameplay were all that fun personally. Tomb Raider just felt like a chore to me that took itself way too seriously and the QTE stuff made me want to turn it off. I hate QTEs though most of the time anyway.

Blah. Anyway, ROTTR seems to be reviewed better than TR2013, so maybe I'll check out the PC version down the line. I hope FC5 comes out soon. Whatever caveman Far Cry sounds interesting, but it also kinda sounds like filler until the next mainline entry. Bring on FC5!
