Zelda games take quite awhile to make, we usually get things like handheld games to help shorten the wait time.
I will say that I am hoping that Nintendo doesn't plan to constantly make remakes as a way to buffer the wait.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
