If they were really smart, they should have dropped it to $250 before the holidays (really should have done it last year), then had a $199 BF bundle. Those would have flew off of shelves. I understand they want to make money on HW, but I think Sony is showing that even if you break even on HW, you'll make a killing in SW if there are an extra few million playing on your system. It also helps with your overall perception from gamers.
I'll probably pick one up next year, if they do drop to $199. Or, even better, if there is ever a $149 BF bundle.
