Sony is the only company that can come back from being eight million consoles behind in the gaming industry. While Microsoft had America, Sony had the world. All they had to do was stop screwing up their public image and analysts charted them to catch up with Microsoft by 2011. Of course they didnt account for the Kinect, so it took longer than that to catch up with Microsofts numbers. Again, only Sony can pull this off. They are truly the brand of the world and if they start their generation off correct, good luck getting third party support or any type of favors. EA screwed up big time expecting Microsoft to have truly had their number and now they are bringing the deals back to Sony, but Sony will not sign off on EA Access unless EA makes it worth it for them.

Analysts predicted the PS3 to win from the start and that Xbox 360 would do better than the Xbox and Wii doing worse than Gamecube. And every company can make a comeback sometimes you need luck and to take a lot of risk. Why did PS2 sell more than 2 million in it is first 3-4 months in Japan? Every analyst will tell you because of the DVD player so every analyst would also say with PS3's blu ray player the same will happen especially with sony promoting it more as blu ray player than a video game console at first, it didn't and nobody even on vgchartz expected it.
