No source needed, in fact just look at Halo 3 when MS announced sales for it. The last announcement for Halo 3 sales was 14.5 million but before that it was 8.1 million. Notice that MS didn't announce 10 million when it reach that mark? They could be doing the same thing for Reach and 4.
